Fluke Buys Viola's Code
Got a Viola Networks' NetAlly box? If so, you'll want to know that Fluke Networks just bought Viola's intellectual property and source code. Note that the deal doesn't mean that Fluke bought the NetAlly products themselves — just the sauce that went into them. It's not clear what happens to Viola's customers in the deal; the price wasn't specified. The purchase is the latest in a string of VoIP-management deals from Fluke. Learn more about Fluke's purchase in this Network World story.
